This morning the little mister seems to have almost recovered from last week's illness (croup etc), I got all war-ish with my gunk and went for some Claritin-D, aaaand,
It all has me thinking about movement in general.
We went outside for about 1.5 hours and I pulled weeds while Benjamin wheelbarrowed them in his little red wheelbarrow, over to the woods and dumped them out. We made it around one side and the front of the house!
For food:
Breakfast: I opted for a ginormous breakfast of 1/2 banana, 2 over medium eggs (whites cooked, yellows runny), 2 pieces of gf mutigrain toast, salsa (for taste, as I am yet stuffy), water and green tea with lemon, and 7 dark chocolate covered pomegranate seeds (curses, COSTCO!!! but, they are hella yum)
Snack: nonfat greek yogurt with honey and lingonberry jam (about 1 c), water
Lunch: 2/3 green smoothie (1c nonfat pro/prebiotic yogurt + 1/2 banana + 1 avocado + 1/4 c blueberries + 2c assorted salad greens {mostly spinach} + 1/2c water + 1/4c almond milk + drizzle of honey) Benjamin shared the smoothie - he did drink his entire 1/3! It was very thick and creamy and quite satisfying. I was worried about all of the fresh food fibers hitting my stomach, so I also had plain GF bagel with coconut oil and cinnamon on it.
Snack: 1/4c coconut milk frozen dessert (chocolate peanut butter swirl). Usually, if I have this, it is just pain chocolate. But, I saw this new flavor the other day - and holy goodness yumola!!!
For dinner, I am planning on finishing up the sweet potato/ carmelized onion soup with some brown rice and chicken breast... I might have some more tea right now - licorice! :)
Feeling more warrior like, in a non-angry way today. Maybe it's the Claritin - or that my husband mentioned that my arms are looking less bloated - whatevs, I'll take it! :)
