I do not have any indications that my diet should be severely restricted.
Nor do I have any indications that gallbladder surgery is imminent.
Wheat did show up as slightly abnormally sensitive in the allergy panel. But this could be skewed from me not eating wheat for almost 5 years. No antibodies normally found in someone with celiac's, were found - but, this could also be skewed from me not eating wheat.
I am lactose intolerant, but not allergic to milk products.
So, WTF is going on? Wellsies, the Dr believes that my IBS is a symptom of stress and anxiety, which could be stress and anxiety related to food. He suggested that I find a way to change my routine of how I am handling stress and anxiety in my life. Apparently, when I am eating, my mind and body are stressed, causing my stomach (internal swelling and irritation) and small intestines to push the food through as quickly as possible - which then causes tears (diverticulosis) in my large intestines, malabsorbtion of nutrition and cramping and diarrhea - YAY for me!
So, what to do... I see the mighty winds of change blowing through...
My Dad thinks this is all because our disposable income has disappeared and I can't shop as much anymore - um, okay then.
So - to healing we go. Healing thyself, thyself.
